Memorial for Voddie Baucham
Grace and peace dear brothers and sisters!
Praying for you and yours often and so appreciate each and every one of you.

Let’s continue to pray for God’s comfort and strength upon Voddie’s wife (sister Bridget), their nine children, and three grandchildren (you can support them below financially). And let’s grieve with and pray the same for all who grieve. Especially those who knew Voddie well and counted him as a friend: His local church family the brothers and sisters of Grace Baptist Church, his former local church family the brothers and sisters in Zambia (including especially brother Conrad below), Founders Seminary faculty, board, staff, and students (especially brother Ethan (sister Mekayla, baby Malachi Josiah), and brother Vincent.). Entrust them to the Lord today and often. These friends grieve with resurrection hope but they do still grieve greatly. And they long for Christ and His resurrection more now than ever. They long for tears to be wiped away from our Lord and long for death to be out of sight and mind with no curse in the new heaven and new earth in their Savior's presence.
You can give to Voddie’s family here as you are able to financially-as always only give with freedom, peace, and joy:

Below are two more tributes to Voddie I urge you to read and watch:
The first is an excellent tribute full of thoughtful insights into Voddie’s personal life from Dr. Conrad Mbewe. Conrad is a faithful Christian leader and reformed baptist brother who serves his local church in Zambia and at African Christian University. He worked alongside Voddie for almost ten years. Jared and I were privileged to meet and fellowship with brother Conrad a few weeks ago at the reformed baptist network’s general assembly. You will be encouraged:

And here is a wonderfully Christ-exalting complication of "10 great Voddie moments" I urge you to watch. You will be tremendously blessed by it (thanks to brother Gabriel Hughes a local church reformed baptist pastor and the creator of an excellent podcast and channel: When We Understand the Text. Gabe put it together-give him a follow as well as brother Gabe produces excellent Christ-exalting content on a regular basis:

And here is a tribute from dear brother-pastors Tom Ascol and Graham Gunden on the Sword and the Trowel podcast:

Praise God for His glorious grace in Voddie’s life. Praise God for Voddie's commitment to Christ and His kingdom and gospel and truth! Praise God for His certain promises and our resurrection hope. May we strive to fight the fight of faith and run our races all the more zealously brothers and sisters. Feed on faithfulness (Psalm 37:3). cling to and live in awe of Christ! May we trust God’s grace in Christ alone and from this grace and under this grace long to hear our Lord say: Well done good and faithful servant! Soli Deo Gloria.
