Grace and peace brothers and sisters and friends of Christ the King Reformed Baptist Church. In conjunction with our friends of the Illinois Family Institute we want to urge you to join a special prayer gathering next week. Our church will join with sister churches at the Church of Christian Liberty in Arlington Heights at 7:00 p.m. but there will be other local gatherings across the state of Illinois (find a prayer gathering near you here). Other local churches can also host a prayer night (it is very simple, run by you and there is no agenda outside of calling up the Lord our God). May Christ be praised and the salvation found in Him treasured in our hearts more deeply even as call upon God to be merciful to our nation and our state with the upcoming elections in particular. Leading up to the election there will be other prayer times as well beyond next week (see here)

Join us next Wednesday September 25 7:00 p.m. for Will the Real Church Please Stand Up to Pray as we call upon God our Father in the Son by the Spirit to the praise of our living and triune God!
