Powerful Funeral Sermon by Charles Spurgeon

Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. (John 17:24)

Grace and peace brothers and sisters and friends! Below is an excellent funeral sermon by Charles Haddon Spurgeon he preached on the occasion of the death of his friend and fellow minister. Next to God’s Word and God’s people this Spurgeon sermon has probably greatly blessed and comforted me more than anything. It has also reset and refreshed my heart afresh with zeal for the Lord and His kingdom. I try and read it a few times a year. I pray listening to it does the same for you as well! It is longer but well worth the wade through to consider this rich and glorious eternal truth! May the Lord use it mightily in your life and lead you to treasure Christ to the glory of the Father!

Praise be to God for His great and glorious promises and the hope we have in Christ and the resurrection life with Him in the New Heaven and New Earth! Soli Deo Gloria.
